today i was taking pictures while i was walking back from lunch. there's this old overgrown lot that used to be a car dealership. a great rustic area. so i turn the corner (it was on a corner lot) and delete a few old pictures when i realize the memory card was full, see an open entryway and what looks like an old radio. i take a picture of the radio-like object, cross the street, and head down the alley, the back way into my destination. i barely enter the alley (listening to my ipod shuffle) when a man walks out the nearest door and starts talking to me. i couldn't hear him at first due to my music and all, so i ask him to repeat. he asked me what i had taken a picture of and i told him about the radio-thing. he told me that it wasn't. i can't remember what he said it was, but i remember thinking that he must have been confused, because there was no way, but oh well. so he advanced towards me and told me that it was private property and i apologized. just then, two women walked out the door and asked the man something. he went back inside and i hurried off. i was freaking out. upon further reflection, i realized that there must have been something there that i wasn't supposed to see. but the lot is in plain sight.
i guess what i'm saying is, be careful what you photograph. you just might see something you're not supposed to see (and then again, you might not).

Don't let it end like this. Tell them I said something
